Thomas Logistics’ Braeside facility is 6 500 square
meters and fully equipped, with easily accessible loading
docks and state-of-the art material handling equipment.
Automated stretch wrap machines can be used to enhance
both your product and your image.
Our shared-user facilities meet the needs of any size
company and we currently provide shared-user services
to leading manufacturers and retailers of medical supplies,
household consumer products, industrial equipment, chemicals
and technology. Through the sharing of resources, such
as space, labour, material handling equipment and transportation,
customers benefit from synergies that considerably reduce
supply chain costs
Normal hours of operation are 7.00am to 4.30pm Monday
to Friday excluding public holidays. These hours are flexible
by prior arrangement.
Thomas Logistics has a large fleet of vehicles ranging
from 1 tonne utes and vans to 22 tonne truck and trailer
combinations. As such, we are able to transport parcels,
cartons, pallets and full loads, and have vehicles licensed
to carry bulk dangerous goods.
The majority of our vehicles utilise air bag suspension
that minimises the movement of freight. The use of hydraulic
tailgates and pallet jacks ensures the quick and safe
unloading of freight.
Other managed transport-related services that we provide

- Taxi truck and courier services.
Thomas Logistics can provide you with a range of fulfilment
services including quality inspection, pick and pack,
re-boxing, re-labelling, stock quarantine, stock disposal
and certified stock destruction. We can provide you with
either a unit rate or hourly rate for all fulfilment services.
If you have fulfilment demands, speak to us first –
there may be solutions or approaches that you haven’t
thought of but which could add greatly to the service
that you are able to provide.
The Thomas Logistics’ warehouse management system
(WMS) records all events and actions utilising live radio
frequency scanning and bar coding technology. This system
is used for the receipt, handling, storage and despatch
of products and orders in our warehouse facility. The
WMS also accurately records stock levels and generates
a stock movement history, which is available to our customers
at any given time.
Xora GPS time tracking in all vehicles allows easy tracking
of freight at all times. This innovative system allows
Thomas Logistics customers to check delivery status online.
Many companies are still using paper-based processes to
gather information relating to the movement of their stock.
At Thomas Logistics, information is downloaded six times
an hour and is collated on an electronic run sheet that
allows customers to access a myriad of reports and KPI’s.
